[Abstract] Objective: Study the quality of life and self-care ability of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus from the perspective of social support system nursing.
Methods: We selected 80 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus who were admitted to our hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 as the research subjects. Divide into a study group and a control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases each. The control group received routine care, while the research group received social support system care on top of the control group.
The objective support score, subjective support score, and total social support score of the study group p with statistical significance (P<0.05); before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in overall health, social function, emotional function, physiological function, mental health score, and total quality of life score between the two groups of patients (P>0.05)
Conclusion: Social support system nursing can effectively improve the self-care ability of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, and is beneficial for improving their quality of life, which has clinical application value and is worth promoting.
